Google Data Engineer Bootcamp & Certification

What is the bootcamp?

This bootcamp will have three in-person days of instruction, with several weeks of online office hours. You will receive instructor-led training to prepare you for the Professional Data Engineer certification exam, which you will take on the last day, at no cost.

In this bootcamp, you will learn to utilize Google Cloud technologies and tools for:

• Creating and Managing Data Warehousing and Data Lakes
• Designing and Building Data Pipelines
• Data Modeling and Data Management
• Integrating Machine Learning and Data Analytics

The course is based on the Data Engineering on Google Cloud curriculum.

This bootcamp is designed for technical experts responsible for managing large-scale data transformations and building agentic experiences. This includes:

• Cloud Architects and Solutions Architects designing secure, scalable, and reliable data solutions
• Data Engineers and Data Analysts looking to unify their data foundation for advanced analytics
• Software Engineers and Developers building intelligent applications and multi-agent systems using Gemini
• Database Administrators managing on-premises and cloud-based systems for high-velocity execution

Prerequisites:

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Computing Foundations: Data, ML, and AI in Google Cloud or equivalent experience
• Basic proficiency with Python or Java (can read/understand code)
• Intermediate proficiency with SQL queries (can read SQL statements, write a simple SQL SELECT query using a join and a where clause)
• Understanding of ETL (extract, transform, load) activities in an business environment
• Familiarity with Machine Learning Concepts
