Overview
When you use Dataproc Metastore, you are charged based on the type of tier you use for your services.
Service tiers
You are charged each hour for each of your Dataproc Metastore service. The rate for each service depends on the type of service tier used for the service.
Developeris the default tier. It's good for low-cost proof-of-concept as it provides limited scalability and no fault tolerance.Enterprisetier provides flexible scalability, fault tolerance, and multi-zone high availability. It can handle heavy Dataproc Metastore workloads.
Charges apply even if your service is inactive.
