Traba built an AI operating system for supply chains, using Google Cloud to connect disjointed data, optimize and automate live operations, and provide the on-demand labor force necessary to maximize productivity.

Behind every home delivery is a global network of warehouses and factories keeping the economy moving. To reach peak efficiency, facilities are focusing on two main goals: making operational decisions backed by live intelligence, and operating with the optimal labor force necessary to satisfy customer demand at all times. Supervisors want to spend less time on manual timesheets and spreadsheets so they can spend more time supporting their teams on the floor. At the same time, when orders spike, facilities need a faster way to hire qualified workers without waiting days or weeks.
Traba had a vision to support this: create a modern AI operating layer to help supply chains operate without delays. The idea was to create a platform capable of instantly matching workers to shifts while eliminating complexity from everyday administration within facilities. To succeed, the company needed high-speed AI and reliable cloud infrastructure.
Having built the original mobile app backend on Firestore and operated on Google Cloud from day one, Traba expanded its reliance on Google Cloud. Its goal was to transform industrial staffing, remove operational bottlenecks, and help workers and businesses perform at their best.
With Google Cloud, we’re unlocking the full potential of the $40 trillion physical economy. Our mission is to connect facilities with qualified workers faster than ever and keep supply chains moving at peak efficiency.

Traba built Google Cloud Gemini models directly into every step of the hiring process. By combining Gemini Flash and Flash-Lite models, the platform answers questions in under a second while keeping high-volume data processing affordable.
Google Cloud instantly brings clarity to complex industrial data. We’ve built an intuitive platform where Gemini handles human vetting, translation, and timesheet processing 24/7 with total precision.

As applicants interact with the platform through phone calls, surveys, or resumes, Gemini gathers these details into structured worker profiles. The system automatically verifies candidate qualifications, such as cold-room experience, heavy lifting capacity, or certifications for gas-powered forklifts, matching workers to the right shifts instantly.
For ongoing support, a Gemini-powered conversational agent manages around 6,500 text messages per day. It gives workers 24/7 support for shift searches and pay questions while automatically translating every job posting into Spanish. Gemini optical character recognition reads handwritten paper timesheets so workers get paid accurately and on time.
"Google Cloud instantly brings clarity to complex industrial data," says Chen. "We’ve built an intuitive platform where Gemini handles hiring, translation, and timesheet processing 24/7 with total precision."
To handle bigger operational tasks, Traba built an AI platform named Neo. Running on Google Cloud, Neo connects four key tools: Gemini Enterprise directs AI tasks, Cloud Run executes them on demand, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) scales core software as demand grows.
Finally, BigQuery acts as a single hub that brings spreadsheets, business records, operational logs, and HR databases together. Instead of a warehouse manager losing ten minutes searching for misplaced stock, BigQuery organizes the data so Gemini can flag inventory errors and update warehouse layouts automatically.

By pairing a hands-on engineering team with Google Cloud, Traba is changing how industrial companies operate. Software engineers at Traba are working on the front lines alongside warehouse managers to solve complex operational problems.
Building on Google Cloud allows our engineers to deploy working AI solutions directly to factory floors in just minutes. Our clients see immediate results, with output increasing as much as tenfold.

When a packaging plant needed software to fix conveyor belt schedules and stop material waste, traditional tech companies quoted a seven-month timeline. Traba engineers launched a working Google Cloud solution in just 24 hours. The AI tool reorganized production schedules, cut out wasted materials, and saved the plant millions of dollars each year.
This direct engineering approach backed by Google Cloud delivers immediate results for businesses and faster opportunities for workers. Companies using Traba fill 95% of their shifts in less than a day, keeping supply chains moving without delays. Hourly workers get hired in hours instead of weeks so they can earn paychecks much faster.
Traba uses Gemini roughly 130,000 times every week across more than 50 distinct use cases. By delegating these tasks to AI, facility managers report accomplishing ten times more work overnight without hiring extra administrative staff.
With Gemini usage growing 78% in four months, Traba continues bringing Neo to new industrial sectors. Through its partnership with Google Cloud, Traba shows how AI can make the physical economy work better and faster for everyone.
"Building on Google Cloud allows our engineers to deploy working AI solutions directly to factory floors in just minutes," says Chen. "Our clients see immediate results, with output increasing as much as tenfold."
Traba is on a mission to revolutionize staffing among light industrial companies through the use of AI-driven solutions.
