As part of a project for a customer, Quadance needed to map two million photos with corresponding names from college yearbooks in one month. "By combining Gemini's contextual understanding with its models, the business was able to accurately map names to photos and complete all processing within the required timeframe. With Gemini, the company reduced its data extraction effort for this project by 50%," said Mathews. "Moreover, it was also able to send about 100 requests per minute to Gemini, which, combined with rapid processing, ensured that it met the project deadline." 

Quadance has added a Gemini-integrated chat interface to its document storage and retrieval system, enabling fast and intelligent responses to search queries. "Gemini can understand user questions, fetch corresponding documents, and provide accurate, concise summaries, improving the user experience, boosting productivity, and enabling faster decision-making," said Mathews. "When we attempted a similar project using traditional AI, the accuracy was limited, and we had to invest in natural-language conversions. Gemini has considerably reduced our development effort while meeting users' expectations of being able to interact naturally with documents."
