Scaling recruitment with AI document matching

Modern digital transformation is fundamentally reshaping how organizations recruit talent. To secure top candidates in a competitive market, companies must abandon slow, error-prone manual methods, which struggle with high applicant volumes and document verification, in favor of fast, transparent e-recruitment systems.

The necessity of this shift was evident when Infomedia needed to process 1.5 million job applications for a client within a strict three-week deadline. Using traditional manual methods, this task would have required 500 personnel to review resumes, transcripts, and certificates. Instead, Infomedia worked with Google Cloud to deploy an AI-driven document matching solution. By leveraging Gemini models and Google Cloud infrastructure, the company successfully analyzed all 1.5 million applications in just two weeks using a team of only 60 staff members. This technology-driven approach eliminated administrative bottlenecks, accelerated workflows, and significantly reduced operational overhead.

The interesting thing about Google is that to get a solution, I only needed to contact one person. It's very easy to interact with Google, and they are fairly fast. In just four months, we were able to deliver our first AI use cases.

Expanding the AI horizon and improving interaction

Following the recruitment project's success, Infomedia is migrating its legacy data center to Google Cloud. The company also deployed Gemini models and Google Search to power retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for its internal knowledge management. Operating with a single Google contact ensured rapid delivery, taking just four months from initial discussion to production.
