Rabbit

Rabbit slashes enterprise cloud costs by up to 52% with Google Cloud

Results on Google Cloud
  • Cuts BigQuery costs by up to 52% through automated scaling

  • Monitors and optimizes over 500 PB of BigQuery storage data

  • Operates hundreds of isolated Cloud Run projects efficiently

Rabbit uses serverless Google Cloud to manage hundreds of isolated enterprise tenants and automate millions in cloud savings.

Scaling multi-tenant platforms
without an operations army

Rabbit, a cloud optimization and cost management platform with FinOps capabilities, built its product to manage hundreds of isolated enterprise tenants with just a handful of engineers. By using a fully managed, serverless Google Cloud architecture, it eliminated the need for a dedicated operations team.

Cloud Run powers its core services, automatically scaling to zero when inactive to reduce costs. Meanwhile, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) orchestrates complex data collection pipelines. At the same time, fully managed databases like Cloud SQL and Firestore handle tenant orchestration seamlessly. This lean approach allows Rabbit to rapidly build, validate, and deploy prototypes in days.

The infrastructure Rabbit started with in 2022 is essentially what we run today. It scaled from our first tenant to hundreds of enterprise customers without drastic re-architecting—it simply grew with us, which is why we're confident the same foundation will carry Rabbit into its next, AI-driven chapter.

Automating cloud savings
with massive data analytics

BigQuery sits at the heart of Rabbit’s platform, giving it the immense scale required to analyze and optimize metadata from more than 10 billion jobs. It powers real-time cost analytics and counterfactual pricing simulations. This trustworthy automation actively manages capacity for global enterprises, continuously adjusting production reservations to maximize price-performance.

As a result, customers such as Lufthansa Group achieved a 52% reduction in total BigQuery costs, while Daangn cut its monthly spend by 41%. Rabbit thoroughly tests every feature on its own Google Cloud footprint first, ensuring enterprise-grade safety before rolling out the same with customers.
