With a base of more than 2,000 international customers, ranging from large multinationals to medium-sized businesses, Exalate initiated a major transformation in 2019 by outsourcing its platform to Google Cloud to support its growth. This migration to a Kubernetes infrastructure, orchestrated by Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), has transformed Exalate's operational capabilities. The company now deploys automated production environments, perfectly isolated for each customer, combining maximum security and optimal performance on a global scale.
At the same time, Exalate leverages Google Cloud SQL to optimize customer database management. "With Google Cloud SQL, we have been able to centralize our data while maintaining the flexibility of separate schemas for each customer, an ideal solution to ensure confidentiality and security while offering high availability that ensures business continuity, even in the event of failure," adds Bruno Dauwe.
Artificial intelligence as a new engine of innovation
With this robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure, Exalate continues its innovation momentum. The company launched AI Assist, an innovative AI feature that simplifies integration configurations of integrations using advanced language models to automatically generate script code. In close collaboration with Google Cloud teams, Exalate is currently evaluating the possibility of integrating Vertex AI and its advanced models. Objective: to perfect AI Assist to further automate tasks and offer more intuitive integrations, meeting the growing expectations of companies in terms of data management.
