cynapse.ai powers cloud-based solutions and future-proofs its agentic video AI research with Compute Engine.
Across mission-critical operations—from data centers to seaports and transportation networks—video is the first line of defense. Security, safety, and operations teams all rely on cameras to catch incidents, prevent hazards, and keep critical infrastructure running smoothly. cynapse.ai ensures these teams have contextualized insights to act on with agentic video intelligence—domain-tuned AI that understands industry-specific context, objects, interactions, and events. Pairing this with the cynapse Copilot, which lets users search footage, set alerts, and generate reports in plain language, cynapse.ai customers can turn raw footage into real-time and offline safety, security, and operational intelligence.
When cynapse.ai was founded, its solutions needed to be deployed on-premises, but as customers, including large enterprises and government agencies, began requesting more flexible cloud-based options, the team had a vision to make that a reality. Making the change required finding centralized GPU resources to avoid fragmenting compute across multiple regions. “GPU Hardware availability made it challenging to stand up cloud-based services in a few regions, so we needed an alternative that offered scalable, flexible deployments and would work well with our existing infrastructure. Having the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform included was a strong added benefit,” shares Illy Gruber, CMO and Product Head at cynapse.ai.
The company was strategically ready to take the leap into cloud-based solutions, but to unify their fragmented workloads, cynapse.ai needed an enterprise-grade cloud platform. The team looked for a cloud provider capable of offering a broad selection of high-performance GPU and the scalability to support their growth, alongside the AI services that support its AI Lab work.
