Gets the database specified by the resource name.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name	string Required. The name of the database to retrieve. Format: projects/{project_id_or_number}/locations/{locationId}/catalogs/{catalogId}/databases/{databaseId}

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Database.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/bigquery
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
