Agent Assist Pricing

For chat conversations, Agent Assist is priced according to the number of chat messages processed by the service each month. A chat conversation is defined as a conversation that uses only text for sending and receiving information.

Conversation: A conversation is defined as a resource that contains an exchange between a human agent and an end-user.
Message: A message is defined by a single request to AnalyzeContentRequest with an entry in the text_input field.
Session (Chat SKUs): A session is defined as up to 70 messages, rounding up (for example, a conversation with 71 messages counts as 2 sessions).

For voice conversations, Agent Assist is priced based on the total duration of voice sessions in minutes processed by the service each month.

Chat pricing models

Agent Assist chat pricing has transitioned from a per-session model to a per-message model.

Per-message pricing (Current)

For customers onboarded on or after March 6, 2026, Chat features are charged per message processed.

Standard Chat (Agent Assist chat messages): $0.002 per message.
Enterprise Chat (Agent Assist chat enterprise messages): $0.003 per message.

Per-session pricing (Obsolete)

Existing customers who were onboarded before March 6, 2026 continue to be billed under the per-session model using obsolete SKUs:

Standard Chat (Agent Assist for chat): $0.06 per session.
Enterprise Chat (Agent Assist for premium chat sessions): $0.08 per session.
