Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) air-gapped appliance offers specific support services to meet specific customer needs, such as 24/7 coverage, multi-channel support, and access to subject-matter experts. Premium Support or Enhanced Support is required to purchase Assured Workloads, which provides customers with access to Assured Support.

Assured Support

Assured Support for GDC air-gapped appliance provides customers with the ability to easily and quickly create controlled environments in which regional data location and personnel-access controls are enforced. Regulated customers and the enterprises which support them will be able to use this product to support their compliance efforts by:

  • choosing to have their sensitive workloads stored at rest in the geographic region of their choice.
  • ensuring only Google personnel meeting certain attributes can support their workload. The supported personnel attributes include geographical access location, background checks, and
    geographical location status
    (For example US based personnel, EU based personnel, etc.).
