Set up Google Cloud Deploy

This page describes the steps to set up Google Cloud Deploy. For information about charges to Google Cloud Deploy, see Pricing.

  1. In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

  2. Make sure that billing is enabled for your Cloud project. Learn how to check if billing is enabled on a project.

  3. Enable the Google Cloud Deploy API.

    Enable the API

    You might need to enable other APIs to use Google Cloud Deploy features, including Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Build APIs. To enable them, navigate to the API library in Google Cloud console, and search for those APIs.
  4. Install and initialize the Google Cloud CLI.
  5. If you've already installed gcloud CLI, make sure you have the latest available version:

     gcloud components update
