Eventi per le modifiche ai metadati
Quando ascolti modifiche a un documento, una raccolta o una query, puoi passare opzioni per controllare la granularità degli eventi che il listener riceverà.
Per impostazione predefinita, i listener non vengono informati delle modifiche che interessano solo i metadati. Valuta cosa succede quando la tua app scrive un nuovo documento:
- Viene immediatamente attivato un evento di modifica con i nuovi dati. Il documento non è ancora stato scritto nel backend, pertanto il flag "in sospeso di scritture" è
true
. - Il documento è scritto nel backend.
- Il backend notifica al client l'avvenuta scrittura. Non
sono state apportate modifiche ai dati del documento, ma è stata apportata una modifica ai metadati perché il flag "In attesa di scrittura" adesso è
false
.
Se vuoi ricevere eventi di snapshot quando i metadati del documento o della query vengono modificati, passa un oggetto delle opzioni di ascolto quando colleghi il listener.

Configura listener solo per le modifiche locali
I listener di snapshot di Firestore acquisiscono uno snapshot iniziale dalla cache locale e recuperano contemporaneamente i dati corrispondenti dal server.
In alcuni casi, potresti non volere i recuperi di follow-up dal server. Gli SDK client consentono di configurare i listener in modo che si attivino solo in relazione ai dati nella cache locale. In questo modo puoi evitare chiamate al server non necessarie con i relativi costi e sfruttare la cache lato client, che riflette mutazioni e dati locali.
In questo caso, le opzioni degli snapshot sono impostate nel codice client per consentire solo l'ascolto delle modifiche locali.
