Bagian ini menjelaskan fitur pemberitahuan yang tersedia di perangkat air gap Google Distributed Cloud (GDC).
Pemberitahuan adalah layanan Observability yang memberikan informasi tepat waktu di GDC sehingga Anda dapat menyelesaikan masalah dengan cepat. Kebijakan pemberitahuan menjelaskan situasi yang akan diberi tahu dan cara Anda ingin menerima notifikasi.
Kebijakan pemberitahuan berbasis metrik melacak data pemantauan sistem yang dikumpulkan dan memberi tahu orang tertentu saat resource memenuhi kondisi yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Misalnya, kebijakan pemberitahuan yang memantau penggunaan CPU mesin virtual (VM) dapat memberi tahu tim yang bertugas saat peristiwa mengaktifkan kebijakan. Atau, kebijakan yang memantau cek uptime dapat memberi tahu tim pengembangan dan tim yang bertugas.
Untuk memantau acara berulang di log Anda dari waktu ke waktu, gunakan metrik berbasis log untuk membuat kebijakan pemberitahuan. Metrik berbasis log menghasilkan data numerik dari data logging sistem. Metrik berbasis log cocok jika Anda ingin melakukan salah satu hal berikut:
Hitung kemunculan pesan di log Anda, seperti peringatan atau error. Selain itu, terima notifikasi saat jumlah peristiwa melampaui batas.
Amati tren dalam data Anda, seperti nilai latensi dalam log Anda. Selain itu, terima notifikasi jika nilai berubah secara tidak dapat diterima.
Buat diagram untuk menampilkan data numerik yang diekstrak dari log Anda.
Platform Observability GDC mengumpulkan pemberitahuan
yang masuk dan mengirimkan notifikasi pengguna berdasarkan konfigurasi dan aturan alur kerja
untuk kemampuan observasi data. Di GDC, pemberitahuan dapat membuat halaman dan tiket untuk error kritis. Halaman memerlukan perhatian segera dari operator, sedangkan tiket tidak terlalu mendesak.

An alerting policy describes the circumstances to be alerted and how you want to receive notifications.\n\nMetric-based alerting policies track collected system monitoring data and notify specific people when a resource meets a pre-established condition. For example, an alerting policy that monitors the CPU utilization of a virtual machine (VM) might notify an on-call team when an event activates the policy. Alternatively, a policy that monitors an uptime check might notify on-call and development teams.\n\nTo monitor recurring events in your logs over time, use log-based metrics to create alerting policies. Log-based metrics generate numerical data from system logging data. Log-based metrics are suitable when you want to do any of the following:\n\n- Count the message occurrences in your logs, like a warning or error. Also, receive a notification when the number of events crosses a threshold.\n- Observe trends in your data, like latency values in your logs.
