This section describes how to configure your source SQL Server database for Datastream to track and replicate changes to a selected destination. Datastream can pull changes from self-managed or cloud-hosted SQL Server databases.
Supported databases
Datastream works with the following types of SQL Server databases:
- Self-managed SQL Server (on-premise or cloud-hosted)
- Amazon RDS for SQL Server
- Cloud SQL for SQL Server
- Azure SQL Database tier S3 and later (only supported when using the change tables CDC method)
