Method: zones.get

Returns the specified Zone resource. Gets a list of available zones by making a list() request.

GET https://compute.googleapis.com/compute/v1/projects/{project}/zones/{resourceId}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Parameters

Project ID for this request.

resourceId

string

Name of the zone resource to return.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains data with the following structure:

Represents a Zone resource.

A zone is a deployment area. These deployment areas are subsets of a region. For example the zone us-east1-a is located in the us-east1 region. For more information, read Regions and Zones.
