This document explains how to integrate Personalized Service Health with PagerDuty by:
Setting up PagerDuty alert notifications.
Synchronizing PagerDuty incidents with incidents in Personalized Service Health.
Before you begin
Make sure you have permissions to configure log
alerts .
Set up an alert
Do the following:
Create a PagerDuty notification
channel .
At this step, you'll also decide on the synchronization:
One-way synchronization - the state of the incident in PagerDuty is
decoupled from the state of the incident in Personalized Service Health.
Two-way synchronization - Cloud Monitoring controls the state shown
by PagerDuty.
Set up an alerting
policy , which
describes the circumstances under which you want to be alerted and how you
want to be notified. You'll define the alert condition, where you can set
fields such as the Google products, locations, and state.
Customize the content
of the header and the alert notification.
