Oracle DB (version 1)

The Oracle DB connector lets you connect to an Oracle database (version 11.2 or later) instance and perform the supported database operations.

Migrate from Oracle DB (version 1) to Oracle DB (version 2)

To migrate your existing connections from Oracle DB (version 1) to Oracle DB (version 2), do the following:

  1. Create a new Oracle DB (version 2) connection. For the detailed steps, see create a new Oracle DB (version 2) connection.
  2. In your existing integration, configure the Oracle DB connector task to use the newly created version 2 connection instead of the version 1 connection. To understand how to configure a connector task, see Configure the Connectors task.

After re-configuring the connector task, ensure you test your integration and verify that it works as expected.

  3. Delete your Oracle DB (version 1) connection. For more information, see Delete a connection.
