Marketplace connectors overview
Marketplace connectors are custom connectors that partners can publish to Google Cloud Marketplace. As a partner, when you publish a custom connector as a Marketplace connector, it enhances the visibility and reach of the connector. As a Marketplace consumer, you can use the trusted Google Cloud Marketplace platform to discover and purchase connectors required to build integrations in Application Integration.
Unlike custom connectors, which are primarily built for internal use within an organization, Marketplace connectors are designed for a broader consumption. As a partner, you must certify and validate your connector to ensure quality and compatibility and also provide support for the connector on customer issues.
Benefits of Marketplace connectors

As a consumer, you can benefit in the following ways:
- Benefit from data discovery, authentication, and other capabilities provided by Integration Connectors.
- Simplified procurement and deployment process through the Marketplace.
- Benefit from support and maintenance available for connectors.
Marketplace connector development and usage
As a partner, you must register and meet the Marketplace requirements to develop a custom connector that you will publish to Google Cloud Marketplace. For information, see Marketplace connector development.
As a consumer, you must purchase the connector from the Marketplace before you can use it to create a connection. After you purchase the connector, you can deploy it in Integration Connectors.
Marketplace connector support
As a partner, you must regularly maintain and validate the connector that you developed.
