Cuando creaste un flujo, lo hiciste y lo iniciaste inmediatamente, o bien lo creaste sin iniciarlo.
Si has creado la emisión, pero no la has iniciado, puedes hacerlo ahora. Al iniciar el flujo, Datastream puede transferir datos, esquemas y tablas de la base de datos de origen al destino.
Ve a la página Streams (Streams) de la Google Cloud consola.
Marca la casilla situada a la izquierda de la emisión que quieras iniciar.
Haz clic en EMPEZAR.
En el cuadro de diálogo, haz clic en INICIAR. El estado de la emisión cambia de Not started a Starting y, después, a Running.
Después de iniciar una transmisión, puede monitorizarla
para verificar que Datastream ha transferido datos de la base de datos de origen al destino.
Pausar la emisión
Después de iniciar una emisión, puedes pausarla. Cuando se pausa un flujo, Datastream no extrae datos nuevos de la base de datos de origen al destino. Sin embargo, es posible que se sigan escribiendo algunos datos en el destino mientras sigan fluyendo los datos "en tránsito".
En algunos casos, si pausas una emisión, la base de datos de origen debe conservar los datos hasta que reanudes la emisión. El periodo de conservación de la base de datos de origen puede ser limitado. Si la emisión se pausa durante un periodo superior al de conservación de la fuente y, a continuación, se reanuda, puede que la emisión falle. Si esto ocurre, elimine el flujo, cree uno nuevo y, a continuación, inícielo para que Datastream pueda transferir datos, esquemas y tablas de la base de datos de origen al destino.
Ve a la página Streams (Streams) de la Google Cloud consola.
Marca la casilla situada a la izquierda del flujo que quieras pausar.
Haz clic en PAUSAR.
En el cuadro de diálogo, haz clic en PAUSAR. El estado de la emisión cambia de Running a Draining. El drenaje de un flujo es el proceso de vaciar el flujo para que no contenga ningún dato.
Una vez que se hayan enviado todos los datos de la secuencia, su estado cambiará de Draining a Paused.
Después de pausar un flujo, puedes reanudarlo para que Datastream pueda transferir datos nuevos de la base de datos de origen a la de destino.

The retention period for the\nsource database may be limited. If the stream is paused for longer than the\nsource retention period, and then the stream is resumed, this can cause the\nstream to fail.
