Deletes a policy tag together with the following:

• All of its descendant policy tags, if any
• Policies associated with the policy tag and its descendants
• References from BigQuery table schema of the policy tag and its descendants

Path parameters

Parameters
name	string Required. Resource name of the policy tag to delete. Note: All of its descendant policy tags are also deleted. It takes the form projects/{project}/locations/{location}/taxonomies/{taxonomies}/policyTags/{policytag}. Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name: datacatalog.taxonomies.update

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.
