Updates an existing tag.

Path parameters



The resource name of the tag in URL format. Example:

  • projects/{project_id}/locations/{location}/entrygroups/{entryGroupId}/entries/{entryId}/tags/{tag_id}

where tag_id is a system-generated identifier. Note that this Tag may not actually be stored in the location in this name. It takes the form projects/{project}/locations/{location}/entryGroups/{entrygroup}/tags/{tag}.

Query parameters


string (FieldMask format)

The fields to update on the Tag. If absent or empty, all modifiable fields are updated. Currently the only modifiable field is the field fields.

A comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Tag.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Tag.
