Method: instances.delete

Full name: projects.locations.datasets.dicomStores.studies.series.instances.delete

instances.delete deletes an instance associated with the given study, series, and SOP Instance UID. Delete requests are equivalent to the GET requests specified in the Retrieve transaction. Study and series search results can take a few seconds to be updated after an instance is deleted using instances.delete.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
parent

Required. The name of the DICOM store that is being accessed. For example, projects/{projectId}/locations/{locationId}/datasets/{datasetId}/dicomStores/{dicomStoreId}.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource parent:

  • healthcare.dicomStores.dicomWebDelete
dicomWebPath

Required. The path of the instances.delete request. For example, studies/{studyUid}/series/{seriesUid}/instances/{instanceUid}.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is empty.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-healthcare
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
