Method: organizations.deidentifyTemplates.create

Creates a DeidentifyTemplate for re-using frequently used configuration for de-identifying content, images, and storage. See to learn more.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters



The parent resource name, for example projects/my-project-id or organizations/my-org-id.

Authorization requires the following Google IAM permission on the specified resource parent:

  • dlp.deidentifyTemplates.create

Request body

The request body contains data with the following structure:

The DeidentifyTemplate to create.



The template id can contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens; that is, it must match the regular expression: [a-zA-Z\\d-_]+. The maximum length is 100 characters. Can be empty to allow the system to generate one.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of DeidentifyTemplate.
