Method: organizations.locations.discoveryConfigs.patch

Updates a discovery configuration.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name

string

Required. Resource name of the project and the configuration, for example projects/dlp-test-project/discoveryConfigs/53234423.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • dlp.jobTriggers.update

The request body contains data with the following structure:

Required. New DiscoveryConfig value.
updateMask

string (FieldMask format)

Mask to control which fields get updated.

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of DiscoveryConfig.
