- We will not make the content of the text that you send available to the public. We will not share the content with any third party. The content of the text is only used by Google as necessary to provide the Cloud Translation API service. Cloud Translation API complies with the Cloud Data Processing Addendum.
- Will the text I send to the Cloud Translation API, the results, or other information about the request itself, be stored on Google servers? If so, how long and where is the information kept?
- When you send text to Cloud Translation API, text is held briefly in-memory in order to perform the translation and return the results to you.

- Can Google guarantee that my data will not leave a specific region?
- Cloud Translation - Advanced API has regionalized endpoints that can be configured for data location pursuant to the 'AI/ML Data Location' Section of the Service Specific Terms at https://cloud.google.com/terms/service-terms. Cloud Translation - Basic API, Cloud Translation - Advanced API, and AutoML Translation have global endpoints; when using these endpoints, the Services are global and data cannot be configured to remain in a specific region for processing.
- How are glossaries stored?
- Glossaries are encrypted and stored securely on Google Cloud, are in compliance with the Cloud Data Processing Addendum, and can be managed from your Google Cloud project.
- Who can access my glossaries?
- Cloud Translation provides fine-grained IAM permissions, so only principals with the proper permissions can access your glossaries.
