Method: projects.locations.gatewaySecurityPolicies.patch

Updates the parameters of a single GatewaySecurityPolicy.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

gatewaySecurityPolicy.name

string

Required. Name of the resource. Name is of the form projects/{project}/locations/{location}/gatewaySecurityPolicies/{gatewaySecurityPolicy} gatewaySecurityPolicy should match the pattern:(^a-z?$).

updateMask

string (FieldMask format)

Optional. Field mask is used to specify the fields to be overwritten in the GatewaySecurityPolicy resource by the update. The fields specified in the updateMask are relative to the resource, not the full request. A field will be overwritten if it is in the mask. If the user does not provide a mask then all fields will be overwritten.

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource updateMask:

  • networksecurity.gatewaySecurityPolicies.update

Request body

The request body contains an instance of GatewaySecurityPolicy.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.
