Viewing settings

This topic explains how to view the basic settings associated with a repository or project.

Viewing repository settings

To view the settings for a repository:

  1. Open Cloud Source Repositories in the console:

    Open Cloud Source Repositories

  2. Click the name of the repository.

    A screen opens, displaying the contents of the repository.

  3. Click the gear icon located in the upper right corner.

    The General Settings screen opens.

From the General Screen, you can view the following information:

  • Repository Name. Displays the name of the repository. Click the name of the repository to view its contents.

  • Repository Location. Displays information about where the repository exists in relation to the Google Cloud Platform resource hierarchy. To access other resources, such as the parent project of the repository, click its name.

Viewing project settings

To view the settings for a project:

  1. From the console, navigate to your list of repositories.

  2. Click the name of a project.

    A screen opens, displaying the repositories that belong to the project.

  3. Click the gear icon located in the upper right corner.

    The General Settings screen opens.

From the General Screen, you can view the following information:

  • Project Name. Displays the name of the project. Click the project name to view the repositories that belong to it.

  • Project ID. Displays the ID for the project.

  • Project Location. Displays information about where the project exists in relation to the Google Cloud Platform resource hierarchy. To access other resources, such as the parent project of the repository, click its name.
