从预览版升级 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud

在 GKE on Bare Metal 1.12.0 版发布后，VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud 正式版 (GA) 也随之发布。所有之前版本的 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud 都是预览版。如果不先删除虚拟机并停用 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud，则您无法从预览版升级到正式版。升级集群后，您可以再次启用 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud 并重新创建虚拟机。

如需从非正式版 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud 升级，请执行以下操作：

  1. 从集群中删除所有虚拟机及其资源。

    如需了解 1.10 版集群的说明，请参阅 1.10 文档中的删除虚拟机及其资源。如需了解 1.11 版集群的说明，请参阅 1.11 文档中的删除虚拟机及其资源。

  2. 停用 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud。

    如需了解 1.10 版集群，请参阅 1.10 文档中的停用 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud。如需了解 1.11 集群，请参阅 1.11 文档中的停用 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud。

  3. 如果您的集群上安装了 Multus，请将其卸载。

    Multus 与 Pod 的多 NIC 功能搭配使用。

  4. 将集群升级到 1.12.0 版或更高版本。

    升级 GKE on Bare Metal 时，不能跳过次要版本。例如，如果您有一个 1.10 版集群，则必须先升级到 1.11 版，然后才能升级到 1.12.0 版或更高版本。如需了解详情，请参阅升级集群。

  5. 在 1.12.0 集群上启用 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud。

  6. 重新创建虚拟机。

    由于正式版的 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud 的虚拟机架构发生了变化，您必须重新创建虚拟机。与 1.12.0 版或更高版本集群上的 VM Runtime on Google Distributed Cloud 搭配使用。
