Method: googleapis.ml.v1.projects.models.versions.setDefault

Designates a version to be the default for the model. The default version is used for prediction requests made against the model that don't specify a version. The first version to be created for a model is automatically set as the default. You must make any subsequent changes to the default version setting manually using this method.

Arguments

Parameters
name	string Required. The name of the version to make the default for the model. You can get the names of all the versions of a model by calling projects.models.versions.list.

Raised exceptions

Exceptions
ConnectionError	In case of a network problem (such as DNS failure or refused connection).
HttpError	If the response status is >= 400 (excluding 429 and 503).
TimeoutError	If a long-running operation takes longer to finish than the specified timeout limit.
TypeError	If an operation or function receives an argument of the wrong type.
ValueError	If an operation or function receives an argument of the right type but an inappropriate value. For example, a negative timeout.

Response

If successful, the response contains an instance of GoogleCloudMlV1__Version.
