Browsing Files in Google Cloud Storage

This document describes how to browse content on Google Cloud Storage from within IntelliJ IDEA.

Before You Begin

  • Follow the Quickstart to install and set up IntelliJ IDEA.

Viewing Cloud Storage buckets and their contents

To open a bucket and view its contents:

  1. Select Tools > Google Cloud Tools > Browse Google Cloud Storage buckets.

    The Google Cloud Storage side panel explorer displays.

  2. Select your project from the drop-down menu.

    The buckets associated with your project display.

  3. Double click a bucket to see its contents.

  4. If your bucket contains folders, double click the folders to display their contents.

  5. Right click a bucket or a file within a bucket to copy its name to your clipboard.
