If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate commitments.

To set request fields, pass in keyword arguments. request = Google::Cloud::VMMigration::V1::DeleteTargetProjectRequest.new # Call the delete_target_project method. result = client.delete_target_project request # The returned object is of type Gapic::Operation. - request (::Google::Cloud::VMMigration::V1::DeleteUtilizationReportRequest, ::Hash) — A request object representing the call parameters. Required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash.
- options (::Gapic::CallOptions, ::Hash) — Overrides the default settings for this call, e.g, timeout, retries, etc. Optional.

least one keyword argument is required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all
the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash as a request object (see above).
- name (::String) — Required. The Utilization Report name.
-
request_id (::String) — Optional. A request ID to identify requests. Specify a unique request ID
so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to ignore
the request if it has already been completed. The server will guarantee
that for at least 60 minutes after the first request.
For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request times out. If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate commitments.
The request ID must be a valid UUID with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000).

- update_mask (::Google::Protobuf::FieldMask, ::Hash) — Optional. Field mask is used to specify the fields to be overwritten in the DiskMigrationJob resource by the update. The fields specified in the update_mask are relative to the resource, not the full request. A field will be overwritten if it is in the mask. If the user does not provide a mask, then a mask equivalent to all fields that are populated (have a non-empty value), will be implied.
- disk_migration_job (::Google::Cloud::VMMigration::V1::DiskMigrationJob, ::Hash) — Required. The update request body.
-
request_id (::String) — Optional. A request ID to identify requests. Specify a unique request ID
so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to ignore
the request if it has already been completed. The server will guarantee
that for at least 60 minutes since the first request.
For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request timed out. If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate commitments.
The request ID must be a valid UUID with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000).

def update_group(update_mask: nil, group: nil, request_id: nil) -> ::Gapic::OperationUpdates the parameters of a single Group.
def update_group(request, options = nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationupdate_group via a request object, either of type
UpdateGroupRequest or an equivalent Hash.
- request (::Google::Cloud::VMMigration::V1::UpdateGroupRequest, ::Hash) — A request object representing the call parameters. Required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash.
- options (::Gapic::CallOptions, ::Hash) — Overrides the default settings for this call, e.g, timeout, retries, etc. Optional.
def update_group(update_mask: nil, group: nil, request_id: nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationupdate_group via keyword arguments. Note that at
least one keyword argument is required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all
the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash as a request object (see above).
- update_mask (::Google::Protobuf::FieldMask, ::Hash) — Field mask is used to specify the fields to be overwritten in the Group resource by the update. The fields specified in the update_mask are relative to the resource, not the full request. A field will be overwritten if it is in the mask. If the user does not provide a mask then all fields will be overwritten.
- group (::Google::Cloud::VMMigration::V1::Group, ::Hash) — Required. The update request body.
-
request_id (::String) — A request ID to identify requests. Specify a unique request ID
so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to ignore
the request if it has already been completed. The server will guarantee
that for at least 60 minutes since the first request.
- (response, operation) — Access the result along with the RPC operation
- response (::Gapic::Operation)
- operation (::GRPC::ActiveCall::Operation)
- (::Gapic::Operation)
- (::Google::Cloud::Error) — if the RPC is aborted.
Basic example
require "google/cloud/vm_migration/v1" # Create a client object. The client can be reused for multiple calls. client = Google::Cloud::VMMigration::V1::VMMigration::Client.new # Create a request. To set request fields, pass in keyword arguments. request = Google::Cloud::VMMigration::V1::UpdateGroupRequest.new # Call the update_group method. result = client.update_group request # The returned object is of type Gapic::Operation. You can use it to # check the status of an operation, cancel it, or wait for results. # Here is how to wait for a response. result.wait_until_done! timeout: 60 if result.response? p result.response else puts "No response received." end
#update_migrating_vm
def update_migrating_vm(request, options = nil) -> ::Gapic::Operation
def update_migrating_vm(update_mask: nil, migrating_vm: nil, request_id: nil) -> ::Gapic::OperationUpdates the parameters of a single MigratingVm.
def update_migrating_vm(request, options = nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationupdate_migrating_vm via a request object, either of type
UpdateMigratingVmRequest or an equivalent Hash.
- request (::Google::Cloud::VMMigration::V1::UpdateMigratingVmRequest, ::Hash) — A request object representing the call parameters. Required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash.
- options (::Gapic::CallOptions, ::Hash) — Overrides the default settings for this call, e.g, timeout, retries, etc. Optional.
def update_migrating_vm(update_mask: nil, migrating_vm: nil, request_id: nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationupdate_migrating_vm via keyword arguments. Note that at
least one keyword argument is required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all
the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash as a request object (see above).
- update_mask (::Google::Protobuf::FieldMask, ::Hash) — Field mask is used to specify the fields to be overwritten in the MigratingVm resource by the update. The fields specified in the update_mask are relative to the resource, not the full request. A field will be overwritten if it is in the mask. If the user does not provide a mask then all fields will be overwritten.
- migrating_vm (::Google::Cloud::VMMigration::V1::MigratingVm, ::Hash) — Required. The update request body.

def update_source(update_mask: nil, source: nil, request_id: nil) -> ::Gapic::OperationUpdates the parameters of a single Source.
def update_source(request, options = nil) -> ::Gapic::Operationupdate_source via a request object, either of type
