Method: projects.locations.migrationJobs.verify

Verify a migration job, making sure the destination can reach the source and that all configuration and prerequisites are met.

Name of the migration job resource to verify.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • datamigration.migrationjobs.verify

Request body

The request body contains data with the following structure:

updateMask

string (FieldMask format)

Optional. Field mask is used to specify the changed fields to be verified. It will not update the migration job.

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".
migrationJob

object (MigrationJob)

Optional. The changed migration job parameters to verify. It will not update the migration job.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource migrationJob:

  • datamigration.migrationjobs.verify

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
