Method: projects.instances.clusters.backups.delete

Deletes a pending or completed Cloud Bigtable backup.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name

Required. Name of the backup to delete. Values are of the form projects/{project}/instances/{instance}/clusters/{cluster}/backups/{backup}.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • bigtable.backups.delete

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.
