Deleting a workload environment

This topic guides you through deleting an Assured Workloads for Government environment in the Google Cloud Console. For more information about Assured Workloads, see the Assured Workloads for Government overview.

Delete the workload environment

To delete a workload environment, do the following:

  1. In the Cloud Console, go to the Manage resources page.
  2. Go to Manage resources

  3. In the project list, select the Assured Workloads project, and then click Delete. In the dialog that appears, type the project ID as instructed, and then click Shut down to delete the project.
  4. In the project list, select the project with the same name as the project you just deleted, but with cmek- prepended to it. Then, click Delete. In the dialog that appears, type the project ID as instructed, and then click Shut down to delete the project.
  5. Click the Navigation menu, and then click Compliance.
  6. In the workload environment list, locate the workload environment you want to delete and click Delete. In the dialog that appears, type the workload environment name as instructed, and then click Confirm to delete the workload environment.
