You can use the
Transcoder API quickstart
to create a test VOD asset in a Cloud Storage bucket. The transcoding job
in the quickstart creates a number of assets in the bucket; the output
manifest.m3u8 file is the primary playlist for an HLS VOD asset. MPEG-DASH
playlists are also supported.
This procedure is optional; you can use your own VOD asset in place of this test VOD asset.
