This page describes the create, edit, propose, approve, and delete
operations on the Telecom Network Automation resources, blueprints, and deployments.
Blueprints
Before you perform operations on a blueprint, ensure you have the Telco
Automation Admin (roles/telcoautomation.admin) role.
Create blueprints
From the navigation menu, click Blueprints > Import from Library.
Select the blueprint you want. Click Add Blueprint.
Specify the blueprint name.
Optional: Add any labels you require.
Click Create. Your Blueprint appears in the Draft Blueprints list.
Edit a blueprint
From the navigation menu, click Blueprints > Drafts Blueprint.
Select the blueprints you want to edit. A blueprint editor appears.
Edit the files you want to change.
Click Save File.
Propose a blueprint
From the navigation menu, click Blueprints > Drafts Blueprint.
Select the blueprints. A blueprint editor appears.
Click Propose. The status of the blueprint changes to Proposed.
Approve, reject, or delete a blueprint
From the navigation menu, click Blueprints.
Click the Action menu by the blueprint name.
Select either of the following:
Approve: approve a blueprint.
Reject: reject a blueprint.
Delete: delete a blueprint.
Edit metadata
From the navigation menu, click Blueprints.
Click the Action icon by the blueprint name.
Select Edit Metadata. A dialog appears.
In the dialog, edit the metadata fields Name and Labels.
Click Save.
Deployments
Before you perform operations on a deployment, ensure you have one of the
following roles:

From the navigation menu, click **Blueprints**.\n2. Click the **Action** menu by the blueprint name.\n3. Select either of the following:\n 1. **Approve**: approve a blueprint.\n 2. **Reject**: reject a blueprint.\n 3. **Delete**: delete a blueprint.\n\n### Edit metadata\n\n1. From the navigation menu, click **Blueprints**.\n2. Click the **Action** icon by the blueprint name.\n3. Select **Edit Metadata**. A dialog appears.\n4. In the dialog, edit the metadata fields **Name** and **Labels**.\n5. Click **Save**.\n\nDeployments\n-----------\n\nBefore you perform operations on a deployment, ensure you have one of the\nfollowing roles:\n\n- Telco Automation Admin (`roles/telcoautomation.admin`)\n- Telco Automation Blueprint Designer (`roles/telcoautomation.blueprintDesigner`)\n- Telco Automation Deployment Admin (`roles/telcoautomation.deploymentAdmin`)\n\n### Create a deployment\n\n1. From the navigation menu, click **Blueprints** **\\\u003e** **Approved\n Blueprints**.\n2. Select the name of the blueprint to deploy.\n3. Click **Create Deployment**.\n4. Provide a deployment name.\n5. Click **Create Deployment** . The deployment appears in **Draft\n Deployment**.\n\n### Edit a deployment\n\n1. From the navigation menu, click **Deployments**.\n2. Select the name of the deployment to edit.\n3. Click **Edit** . The **Deployment Editor** appears.\n\n | **Note:** Depending on the deployment, you can only edit certain files, such as the `setters.yaml` file.\n4. Edit the files. Afterwards, click **Save File**.\n\n | **Note:** You must save each file individually.\n\n### Apply a Deployment\n\n1. From the navigation menu, click **Deployments**.\n2. Select the name of the deployment to apply.\n3. Click **Edit** . The **Deployment Editor** appears.\n4. Click **Deploy**.\n5. Confirm your selection. The deployment appears in **Applied Deployment**.\n\n### Delete a Deployment\n\n- **Delete a draft deployment**:\n\n 1. From the navigation menu, click **Deployments**.\n 2. In the drop-down menu, select the deployment you want to delete.\n 3. Click **Draft Deployments**.\n 4. Click the Action icon next to the name of the deployment.\n 5. Click **Delete**. A dialog appears.\n 6. Click **Delete**.\n- **Delete an applied deployment**:\n\n 1. From the navigation menu, click **Deployments**.\n 2. In the drop-down menu, select the deployment you want to delete.\n 3. Click **Applied Deployments**.\n 4. Click the Action icon.\n 5. Click **Delete**. A dialog appears.\n 6. Do either of the following:\n 7. Click **Delete**.\n 8. Delete from the deployment name:\n - Navigate to **Deployments**.\n - Select the orchestration cluster that you want from the drop-down menu.\n - Click **Applied Deployments**.\n - Select the name of the deployment you want to delete.\n - Click **Delete**.\n\n### Roll back a deployment\n\n1. From the navigation menu, click **Deployments**.\n2. In the drop-down menu, select your orchestration cluster.\n3. Click **Applied Deployments**.\n\n | **Note:** Only applied deployments have versions you can roll back.\n4. Select the name of the deployment you want to roll back.\n\n5. Click **Version History**.\n\n6. In the list of deployment versions, click **Rollback** on the version to\n roll back the deployment.\n\n| **Note:** Deployment names must be 254 characters or less, consist of lowercase alphanumeric characters, include a dash or a period, and must start and end with an alphanumeric character."]]
