Method: instances.insert

Creates a new Cloud SQL instance.

HTTP request

POST https://sqladmin.googleapis.com/sql/v1beta4/projects/{project}/instances

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
project

string

Project ID of the project to which the newly created Cloud SQL instances should belong.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of DatabaseInstance.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Operation.

Authorization Scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/sqlservice.admin
