This topic explains how to view the basic settings associated with a repository or Google Cloud project.
View repository settings
To view the settings for a repository, follow these steps.
In the Google Cloud console, open Cloud Source Repositories.
Click the name of the repository.
A page opens, displaying the contents of the repository.
Click Settings settings.
The General settings page opens.
From the General settings page, you can view the following information:
Repository name. Displays the name of the repository. Click the name of a repository to view its contents.
Repository location. Displays information about where the repository exists in relation to the Google Cloud resource hierarchy.
To access other resources, such as the parent project of the repository, click the name of the resource, for example, the Google Cloud project ID.
View project settings
To view the settings for a project, follow these steps.
In the Google Cloud console, go to your list of repositories.
Click the name of a Google Cloud project ID.
A page opens, displaying the repositories that belong to that project.
Click Settings
.The General settings page opens.
From the General settings page, you can view the following information:
Repository Name. Displays the name of the Google Cloud project. Click the Google Cloud project name to view the repositories in that project.
Project ID. This is the short name of the Google Cloud project.
Project location. Displays information about where the Google Cloud project exists in relation to the Google Cloud Platform resource hierarchy.
To access other resources, such as the parent project, click the name of the resource.
