Knative serving abstracts away the complexity of Kubernetes, making it\neasy to build and deploy your serverless workloads across hybrid and multi-cloud\nenvironments.\n\nAccessing Knative serving\n-------------------------\n\nThe Knative serving button is located under **Kubernetes Engine** \\\u003e **Applications**.\nAll of your Knative serving services are listed on this page.\n\nIn the Google Cloud console, go to the **Knative serving** page.\n\n[Go to Knative serving](https://console.cloud.google.com/projectselector2/kubernetes/run)\n\nWhat's new and changed\n----------------------\n\n### Product specific support\n\nKnative serving is now available as a separate experience from the managed\n[Cloud Run](/run) product. The new Knative serving page supports only your\nKnative serving services. Any of your services for the managed\nCloud Run product continue to be available from the\n[Cloud Run page](/run/docs/managing/services) in the\nGoogle Cloud console.\n\n### Cluster requirements\n\nThe prerequisites for Knative serving have changed to require that you must\nfirst create and configure your GKE clusters. You are no longer able to\ncreate clusters from within the Knative serving page in the\nGoogle Cloud console.\n\nFor more information about supported clusters and configuration requirements,\nsee [GKE clusters](/anthos/clusters/docs).\n\nNote that [Cloud Service Mesh](/service-mesh/v1.18/docs/all-anthos-install-guides) will be\nthe recommended and fully supported service mesh for your Knative serving\nservices. Cloud Service Mesh requires that your clusters use a machine type\nthat has at least 4 vCPUs, such as `e2-standard-4`. If you need to\nchange your cluster's machine type, see\n[Migrating workloads to different machine types](/kubernetes-engine/docs/tutorials/migrating-node-pool)."]]
