Creates a Schema.

HTTP request

POST https://discoveryengine.googleapis.com/v1beta/{parent=projects/*/locations/*/collections/*/dataStores/*}/schemas

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
parent	string Required. The parent data store resource name, in the format of projects/{project}/locations/{location}/collections/{collection}/dataStores/{dataStore}.

Query parameters

Parameters
schemaId	string Required. The ID to use for the Schema, which becomes the final component of the Schema.name. This field should conform to RFC-1034 standard with a length limit of 63 characters.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Schema.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Operation.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/discoveryengine.readwrite
