Deletes a Engine.

DELETE https://discoveryengine.googleapis.com/v1alpha/{name=projects/*/locations/*/collections/*/engines/*}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name	string Required. Full resource name of Engine, such as projects/{project}/locations/{location}/collections/{collectionId}/engines/{engineId}. If the caller does not have permission to delete the Engine, regardless of whether or not it exists, a PERMISSION_DENIED error is returned. If the Engine to delete does not exist, a NOT_FOUND error is returned.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.

Requires the following OAuth scope:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
