Method: projects.locations.clusters.generateOfflineCredential

Generates an offline credential for a Cluster.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
cluster

string

Required. The resource name of the cluster.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource cluster:

  • edgecontainer.clusters.get

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

An offline credential for a cluster.

If successful, the response body contains data with the following structure:

clientCertificate

Output only. Client certificate to authenticate to k8s api-server.
clientKey

Output only. Client private key to authenticate to k8s api-server.
userId

Output only. Client's identity.
expireTime

string (Timestamp format)

Output only. Timestamp at which this credential will expire.

A timestamp in RFC3339 UTC "Zulu" format, with nanosecond resolution and up to nine fractional digits. Examples: "2014-10-02T15:01:23Z" and "2014-10-02T15:01:23.045123456Z".

Authorization scopes

Requires the following OAuth scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
