Rapid Migration Assessment API C++ Client Library
An idiomatic C++ client library for the Rapid Migration Assessment API, a unified migration platform that helps you accelerate your end-to-end cloud migration journey from your current on-premises environment to Google Cloud.
While this library is GA, please note that the Google Cloud C++ client libraries do not follow Semantic Versioning.
Quickstart
The following shows the code that you'll run in the google/cloud/rapidmigrationassessment/quickstart/
directory, which should give you a taste of the Rapid Migration Assessment API C++ client library API.
#include "google/cloud/rapidmigrationassessment/v1/rapid_migration_assessment_client.h"
#include <iostream>
int main(int argc, char* argv[]) try {
if (argc != 3) {
std::cerr << "Usage: " << argv[0] << " project-id location-id\n";
return 1;
}
namespace rapidmigrationassessment =
::google::cloud::rapidmigrationassessment_v1;
auto client = rapidmigrationassessment::RapidMigrationAssessmentClient(
rapidmigrationassessment::MakeRapidMigrationAssessmentConnection());
auto const parent =
std::string("projects/") + argv[1] + "/locations/" + argv[2];
for (auto c : client.ListCollectors(parent)) {
if (!c) throw std::move(c).status();
std::cout << c->DebugString() << "\n";
}
return 0;
} catch (google::cloud::Status const& status) {
std::cerr << "google::cloud::Status thrown: " << status << "\n";
return 1;
}
Main classes
The main class in this library is rapidmigrationassessment_v1::RapidMigrationAssessmentClient
. All RPCs are exposed as member functions of this class. Other classes provide helpers, configuration parameters, and infrastructure to mock rapidmigrationassessment_v1::RapidMigrationAssessmentClient
when testing your application.
