This documentation is for the most recent version of Anthos clusters on Azure, released on June 6. See the Release notes for more information.

Anthos clusters on Azure lets you manage GKE clusters running on Azure infrastructure through the Anthos Multi-Cloud API. Combined with Connect, Anthos clusters on Azure lets you manage GKE clusters on both Google Cloud and Azure from the Google Cloud console.

When you create a cluster with Anthos clusters on Azure, Google creates the Azure resources you need and brings up a cluster on your behalf. You can then deploy your workloads with the gcloud and kubectl command-line tools.
