Method: services.enable

Enable a service so that it can be used with a project.

POST https://serviceusage.googleapis.com/v1/{name=*/*/services/*}:enable

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name

string

Name of the consumer and service to enable the service on.

The services.enable and services.disable methods currently only support projects.

Enabling a service requires that the service is public or is shared with the user enabling the service.

An example name would be: projects/123/services/serviceusage.googleapis.com where 123 is the project number.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • serviceusage.services.enable

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/service.management
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
