Upgrading from earlier versions

Upgrading Cloud Service Mesh across more than one minor version on GKE is supported in Cloud Service Mesh installations of 1.7 and later. This page provides links to the upgrade guide for each Cloud Service Mesh version.

Note: Cloud Service Mesh 1.10 introduced networking changes that are different than 1.9 and earlier. After you upgrade to Cloud Service Mesh 1.10 or later, review Am I Impacted? to verify if you are impacted and for mitigation steps.
