Updates metadata of an existing Secret.

PATCH https://secretmanager.googleapis.com/v1/{secret.name=projects/*/secrets/*}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
secret.name	string Output only. The resource name of the Secret in the format projects/*/secrets/*.

Query parameters

Parameters
updateMask	string (FieldMask format) Required. Specifies the fields to be updated. This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Secret.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Secret.
