Create a new snapshot for a volume.

HTTP request

POST https://netapp.googleapis.com/v1alpha1/{parent=projects/*/locations/*/volumes/*}/snapshots

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
parent	string Required. The NetApp volume to create the snapshots of, in the format projects/{projectId}/locations/{location}/volumes/{volumeId}

Query parameters

Parameters
snapshotId	string Required. ID of the snapshot to create. This value must start with a lowercase letter followed by up to 62 lowercase letters, numbers, or hyphens, and cannot end with a hyphen.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Snapshot.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Operation.

Requires the following OAuth scope:
