APIs

This page describes individual commands that can be used with Google Cloud Platform Load Balancing. For contextual "how-to" information about using these commands, see the load balancing How-tos.

  • Addresses: Use to create internal and external IP address resources, assign those address resources to GCP resources, and modify address resources.
    gcloud, API

  • Backend buckets: Use to create and manipulate backend buckets.
    gcloud, API

  • Backend services: Use to create and manipulate backend services.
    gcloud, API

  • Forwarding rules: Use to create and modify forwarding rules in your VPC network. Forwarding rules tell the network where to send matching packets that enter or pass through the network.
    gcloud, API

  • Global addresses: Use for global forwarding rule resources with HTTP(S) load balancing.
    API

  • Global forwarding rules: Use to create GlobalForwardingRule resources. Global forwarding rules are used to forward traffic to the correct load balancer for HTTP load balancing. Global forwarding rules can only be used for HTTP load balancing.

  • Health checks: Use to create and modify health checks for load balanced instances.
    gcloud, API

  • HTTP health checks: Use to create and modify HTTP health checks for load balanced instances.
    gcloud, API

  • HTTPS health checks: Use to create and modify HTTPS health checks for load balanced instances.
    gcloud, API

  • Regional backend services: Use to define a group of backend virtual machines and their serving capacity. API

  • SSL certificates: Use to list, create, and delete SSL certificates.
    gcloud, API

  • Target HTTP proxies: Use to list, create, and delete target HTTP proxies.
    gcloud, API

  • Target HTTPS proxies: Use to list, create, and delete target HTTPS proxies.
    gcloud, API

  • Target instances: Use to list, create, and delete virtual target instances.
    gcloud, API

  • Target pools: Use to control target pools for network load balancing.
    gcloud, API

  • Target SSL proxies: Use to list, create, and delete target SSL proxies.
    gcloud, API

  • Target TCP proxies: Use to list, create, and delete target TCP proxies.
    gcloud, API
